GOOD-BYE
Good-bye is silent, a corner of the Soul rearranged. Devoid of the heart's furnishings. Curtains drawn.
Empty teacups sit on an imagined table, faucet bone dry, kettle sitting mute. Untouched spoons to stir the sadness.
What Might Have Been is a book unread.
Pages disintegrate, Unforgiving winds blow words into the distance.
Nothing lasts forever…
...except GOD.
Amicus
Good-byes are said every day. Someone leaving. The death of a loved one. The loss of a Friend. Regardless of how many children, grandchildren, friends, relatives, etc., you have, in the end it is just you and GOD. And regardless of how alone you feel or how alone you are, GOD is always there.
